Department of Scandinavian Studies Faculty Elected to Serve on National Academic Professional Organizations in the Field

Department of Scandinavian Studies Assistant Professor Ursula Lindqvist has been elected to the Executive Committee of the Society for the Advancement of Scandinavian Study (SASS), the major national academic organization for the field. She is the second Gustavus faculty member to serve on this committee; Associate Professor Glenn Kranking (Scandinavian Studies and History) was elected in 2014. Assistant Professor of Scandinavian Studies Kjerstin Moody will chair the Executive Committee of the Discussion Group on Scandinavian Languages and Literatures in the Modern Languages Association (MLA) in 2016.
