Graduating senior majors in the Department of Scandinavian Studies will present a piece of their research in the field this Saturday, May 11th, at 5:00 p.m. in the Interpretive Center. Their work exemplifies the interdisciplinarity of the field. All are welcome to come and listen to their presentations, and a short celebration of both of graduating senior majors and minors, along with a buffet meal, will follow.
Elizabeth Brauer: “Education in Finland: Facing the Challenges of Increasing Immigration”
Dawn Comstock: “Healthcare in Sweden”
Kirstin Erickson: “Sweden’s Welfare State and Child Development”
Cassandra Quam: “Lindgren in Three Languages”
Ingrid Tonneman: “”Immigration, Policy, and the Lived Experience.”
Our senior minors are: Katie Batz, Nathan Dexter, Karla Leitzman, Ellen Liebe, and Janella Reiswig.
Please join us on Saturday, and help us to wish our seniors well!
